LIGHTWORKER RANCH LLC RUSTIC WELLNESS STUDIO & RETREAT LIABILITY WAIVER

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

Please read carefully. This document affects your legal rights and limits your ability to bring lawsuits or seek financial compensation in the future.

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK: PHYSICAL, FITNESS & WELLNESS ACTIVITIES

I, the undersigned student/participant, understand that participating in activities at the Studio involves physical movement, intense bodily exertion, and cardiovascular strain. I voluntarily assume all risks, known or unknown, associated with my participation in:

• Yoga & Wheel Yoga: Indoor and outdoor yoga, hot yoga, aqua yoga, and classes utilizing specialized yoga wheels, rollers, or inversion props which carry inherent risks of loss of balance, tipping, or falling.
• High-Intensity Bootcamps: Outdoor bootcamp-style fitness classes, circuit training, bodyweight exercises, and interval training involving rapid movements, heavy exertion, and intense physical conditioning.
• Therapeutic Sound & Breathwork: Indoor and outdoor sound bath journeys, meditation sessions, and deep breathwork.
• Thermal Exposure: Voluntary use of extreme temperature features, including a hot rock sauna, infrared/heat elements, ice plunges, and cold therapy. I acknowledge these carry risks of dehydration, dizziness, burns, thermal shock, fainting, or cardiovascular strain.

2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK: WATER, WATERCRAFT, & DROWNING

I acknowledge that the property features open, natural bodies of water, including ponds and a swimming pool.

• Water Activities: I assume all risks associated with swimming, water yoga, aqua aerobics, wading, or standing near water, including the risk of accidental drowning.
• Watercraft & Recreation: I assume all risks related to the use of paddleboards (SUP yoga), canoes, kayaks, bicycles, and fishing equipment. I understand these activities carry risks of capsizing, falling into deep water, collisions, and changing water conditions. I agree to wear a personal flotation device (life jacket) when utilizing any watercraft.

3. ASSUMPTION OF RISK: COUNTRY PROPERTY, TRAILS, & ENVIRONMENT

I acknowledge that the studio is located on a rural, working country property. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with:

• Trail Fitness (Hiking, Running, Walking): Walking, hiking, and running on or off designated trails, outdoor decks, steps, and unpaved pathways. I explicitly acknowledge that rural terrain is subject to sudden changes, including hidden obstacles, roots, rocks, holes, and sudden ground damage caused by wild hogs or other burrowing wildlife, greatly increasing the risk of trips, slips, falls, and twisted joints.
• Outdoor Elements: Use of or proximity to outdoor fire pits (burn/smoke hazards), extreme weather, sun exposure, heat, and cold.

4. ASSUMPTION OF RISK: WILDLIFE, INSECTS, TOXIC PLANTS, & ANIMALS

I understand that nature involves unpredictable biological elements and animals. I assume all risks associated with exposure to:

• Insects & Pests: Mosquitoes, ticks (and tick-borne illnesses), bees, wasps, and other biting or stinging insects.
• Toxic Flora: Poison oak, poison ivy, sumac, and other irritating or toxic plants native to the country environment.
• Domesticated Animals & Livestock: Interacting with or being in proximity to animals on the property, including but not limited to chickens, geese, ducks, dogs, cats, birds, horses, llamas, and donkeys. I understand that animals are unpredictable by nature and assume all risks of being bitten, scratched, kicked, stepped on, chased, or thrown.

5. WEATHER, ENVIRONMENTAL ELEMENTS, & CANCELLATIONS

I acknowledge that outdoor activities, bootcamps, trail running, hiking, and water sports are subject to unpredictable weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, humidity, lightning, sudden storms, high winds, flash flooding, or freezing temperatures.

• Environmental Injury: I assume all risks of injury or illness (such as heat exhaustion, heat stroke, hypothermia, or severe sunburn) caused by exposure to natural elements and changing weather.
• Acts of God & Cancellations: I understand that the Studio reserves the right to alter schedules or cancel outdoor retreat features entirely at its sole discretion due to hazardous weather. I acknowledge that the Studio is not financially liable for travel delays or interruptions resulting from “Acts of God,” and refunds are governed strictly by the Studio’s standard registration policies.

6. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES, PROPERTY DAMAGE, & THEFT

• Medical Authorization: In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize the Studio and its agents to administer basic first aid and/or secure emergency medical treatment, including ambulance transport and hospitalization. I agree that I am solely responsible for all medical expenses and transportation costs incurred.
• Loss of Belongings: I acknowledge that the Studio and property lessors are not responsible for the loss, theft, damage, or destruction of any personal belongings, vehicles, or items brought onto the property by me.
• Guest Damage: I agree to follow all operational instructions for saunas, ice plunges, watercraft, and equipment. I agree to be financially responsible for any physical damage I cause to the property, buildings, equipment, watercraft, or animal enclosures through reckless behavior.

7. COMPREHENSIVE RELEASE OF LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION

In consideration for being permitted on the property and participating in activities, I hereby release, waive, and forever discharge LIGHTWORKER RANCH LLC, its owners, independent contractors, instructors, and LIGHTWORKER RANCH LLC OR DANELLE BLANTON, from any and all claims, demands, lawsuits, or liabilities arising out of ordinary negligence, personal injury, property damage, illness, or accidental death occurring anywhere on the premises or during studio-sponsored classes, workshops, events and retreats.

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the completely released parties from any expenses, costs, or attorney fees resulting from any legal actions brought by me, or on my behalf, regarding the terms covered in this waiver.

8. SEVERABILITY & GOVERNING LAW

I agree that this Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law. If any portion of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining terms shall continue in full legal force and effect. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State where the property is located.

9. PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE (Optional)

I grant permission to the Studio to use photographs or digital video taken of me during classes or retreats for promotional materials, website content, or social media, without financial compensation.
